The 2013 Chardonnay plays it closer to the vest with more noticeable acidity as well as similar notes of lemongrass, tangerine oil, honeysuckle and an underlying dose of wet rocks/minerality. Medium to full-bodied, it should turn out to be as good as the 2012. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. --Robert Parker

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is dark as a moonless night, with classic blackcurrant, blackberry fruit, moving to blueberries, licorice, creosote and incense. Complex, full-bodied and concentrated, the wine is youthful and has good tangy acidity and sweet tannin. This is a beauty that should age effortlessly for 15-20 years. -- Robert Parker
2012 Oakville Ranch Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon: (92 points) “The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is warm, resonant and quite open, all signatures of this pristine Oakville site. Raspberry jam, sweet flowers and tobacco flesh out in a radiant, expressive wine that will drink well upon release. Suave, silky tannins lend polish to the mid-weight finish. The 2012 will be virtually impossible to resist young, but it should also age effortlessly for the next decade or so.” Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec. 2014

A classic example of this varietal, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon offers damp forest floor, plum, spice, and black currant notes intertwined with a vague autumnal, leafy character. With an attractive inner-core of sweet cassis, medium body, and rare elegance, finesse and restraint, it should drink well for 15+ years. --Robert Parker

A beautiful Cabernet Franc from Oakville Ranch, the 2012 Cabernet Franc Robert’s, has a dense, purple color, a sweet kiss of blueberry and blackberry fruit, loads of texture and flavor and a long finish. This is an impressive, rather classy Cabernet Franc to drink over the next decade. -- Robert Parker
2012 Oakville Ranch Vineyards Cabernet Franc Robert's: (93+ points) “A deeply spiced bouquet melds into plum, tobacco and new leather as the 2012 Cabernet Franc Robert's shows off its personality and pedigree. Ample and nicely layered in the glass, the 2012 will drink well early, but also has enough depth to age well for a number of years. This is a gorgeous showing from the red soils of Oakville, where Cabernet Franc has proven to be particularly at home. The 2012 was a bit more expressive from barrel, so it will be interesting to see how it develops in bottle. Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec. 2014

A slight hint of tapenade in the aromatics of the 2011 Cabernet Franc Robert’s blows off to reveal creme de cassis, blueberry liqueur, raspberry, wood spice and forest floor characteristics. The seductive, complex aromas are followed by a fruity, medium to full-bodied wine with slightly crisper acids than the 2010. Another star of the vintage, it should drink well for 10-12 years. --Robert Parker
2011 Oakville Ranch Vineyards Robert's Cabernet Franc: (89 points) “The 2011 Robert's Cabernet Franc opens with gorgeous, expressive aromatics. Sweet red berries, flowers and grilled herbs all lift out of the glass in a perfumed, medium-bodied wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. The 2011 is all about grace, and there is plenty of that here. -- Antonio Galloni, Vinous

The 2010 Cabernet Franc bursts from the glass with a head melange of expressive dark fruit, espresso, spices and sweet herbs. Powerful yet well-integrated tannins frame the fruit in this voluptuous, medium to full-bodied wine. With another year or so in bottle the tannins should start to soften a bit, but the 2009 is pretty delicious, even today. The blend is 99% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. --Antonio Galloni, Vinous

The 2009 Cabernet Franc Robert’s Blend is a rich, powerful wine bursting at the seams with fruit, espresso, spices, licorice and new leather, adding complexity to a powerful core of fruit in this tannic, authoritative wine. The 2009 possesses excellent balance, but not as much varietal typicity as I had hoped. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2024. --Robert Parker
